Make the trip work
Transfers
International arrivals use NBO; many safari flights use Wilson Airport. Check the actual departure airport, airstrip and luggage allowance. Allow an overnight buffer instead of assuming a same-day connection.
Kosher food
Nairobi Chabad meals and Mara lodge service are separate arrangements. For a camp without its own kitchen, confirm packaging, cold storage, reheating and who supplies each meal.
Shabbos base
If minyan access is a priority, place Shabbos in Nairobi near a verified route. A remote lodge stay does not establish a minyan or permit ordinary vehicle excursions on Shabbos.
