Check current local access and travel guidance before departure. Exact entrances, cemetery sections and event arrangements need confirmation for your dates.

Munkacs and Chust belong to Zakarpattia in present-day Ukraine. They share historical connections with Hungary, Slovakia and Romania, but crossing into Ukraine is not a routine add-on to those trips.
The same Ukraine Level 4 — Do Not Travel advisory applies here. The Carpathian border region is included for historical information, not as an exception to the warning.
Confirm the exact cemetery, entrance, caretaker and opening arrangements. Ask about steps, uneven paths and stroller access. Kohanim should obtain guidance about permitted access before approaching a cemetery or ohel.
Kosher food, minyan & Shabbos
Book kosher meals, minyan, mikveh and Shabbos accommodation separately. Confirm the hechsher and services for your dates. A historical community or pilgrimage center does not guarantee daily services.
Yahrzeit visits & historical traditions

Dates shown are commemorations, not confirmations of organized events. Ancient sites identified by tradition are labeled accordingly; sources establish historical information, not current access.
